Arsenal Bolton Poorly Drawn

Plus I’ve been nominated for an award
Arsenal Bolton Poorly Drawn

Hi all,

First things first, I wasn’t going to promote this because I won last year and that was really cool, but I noticed I’m up against literal Manchester City and after last weekend, I can’t let them win another trophy (even though 50% of the vote is up to a panel of judges)

I’ve been nominated again for Best Artist in the Football Content Awards. If you’d like to play a role in stopping Manchester City from winning the quintuple then vote below! There’s a lot of other really great Arsenal folks up for awards as well. Tim Stillman is up for his coverage of the women’s team with Arseblog, GayGooners for their work, The ArsenalVision for their podcast, and finally AFTA for their work in the women’s game. As a side note, you should follow AFTA on Instagram they do what I do, but for our women’s team.

Anywho, the match. I missed a good chunk of it because I foolishly had scheduled a dentist appointment in the middle of it (happy to report there are no cavities) but it was nice to see so many kids playing.

Also I’ve just come across Jack Porter’s, the 16 year old who was in net for Arsenal last night, official team photo.

The section in which I pull a couple of the messages from last week that made me giggle or smile:

I haven’t been home much since the last newsletter, so all I have is this photo of Olive running in a park with a stick she found
Poorly Drawn Arsenal is free, but there are other ways to support what I do.

Share the newsletter: tell your friends (or your enemies) about it.

Buy some merch: I put a lot of my drawings onto shirts, mugs, posters, stickers, etc. This helps keeps the lights on at PDA Headquarters and you get something in return. Neat!

Leave a Comment: leaving a comment just lets me that you like what I’m doing which is sometimes hard to know when you are sending out emails into the ether.

I have questionable artistic skills and a love of Arsenal. Here is where I combine the two.
