What a week. We started the week with the Super League being a very real thing that was happening with no stopping it. We ended the week with no super league, a protest to get Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke to sell the club, and an Arsenal match that I will acknowledge but won't dive into because I'm just all in on the Europa League.
Imagine all my Arsenal emotions as poker chips. I've pushed all the chips into the center of the table, taken my poker visor and sunglasses off, and loudly announced, "I'm all in." Meanwhile, all the other people at the table are whispering things like, "wow, so brave" and "is that allowed?" That's where I'm at with Arsenal right now.
This has just been an emotionally draining season, capped off with this emotionally draining week. I find myself torn between wanting this season to end and loving Arsenal and wanting to watch as many matches as I possible can. Is this Stockholm syndrome?
