I didn't get to watch yesterday's match live, I unfortunately had to work on a Saturday. This happens about twice a year and usually the universe perfectly plans these Saturdays during the international breaks and, I guess, this year my luck had run out.
After the match, I had posted on social media asking for recommendations for what to draw and overwhelming the answer was to draw Saka at the corner flag. Now usually, I try to avoid drawing the crowd (it's a lot of work) but something in my brain yesterday told me to do it. Could have been guilt from missing the match? This is very likely.
I immediately regretted my decision as soon as I started, but it's done.
A few last things, the last day to vote for the award I'm up for is next Sunday. I'm likely not going to be sending a newsletter next week. I tend to take the international breaks off and I'm also traveling next week. So, if you'd like to vote for me (or other Arsenal creators) you can vote on here in the category of Best Graphic Designers and Artists. Here's a list of some other good Arsenal folks up for awards as well.
Finally, the second episode of the Poorly Drawn Arsenal Show is listed below.
Okay, enjoy your international breaks! See you on the other side.

The section in which I pull a couple of the messages from last week that made me giggle or smile:
On this week's episode of the Poorly Drawn Arsenal Show we help people watch games in foreign countries where bars might not be available, we teach people how to stay in Best Buy for over 2 hours, and we learn how to take down PGMOL from the inside. Listen below:
Share the newsletter: tell your friends (or your enemies) about it.
Buy some merch: I put a lot of my drawings onto shirts, mugs, posters, stickers, etc. This helps keeps the lights on at PDA Headquarters and you get something in return. Neat!
Leave a Comment: leaving a comment just lets me that you like what I’m doing which is sometimes hard to know when you are sending out emails into the ether.
