The off-season

The preseason is officially over so it’s time to dust off the old iPad and stylus and start Poorly Drawn Arsenal back up for another season.

It hasn’t been a particularly busy off-season for Arsenal. Riccardo Calafiori has been the only new signing that has come in (not counting the permanent deal for David Raya.) With his handsomeness I expect him to fit into the squad perfectly.

At that exact same time of the announcement, I was introducing a crowd of Arsenal fans to Philadelphia with the only way I know how, which is with Philly Elmo (don't worry this makes about as much sense to you out of context as it does to Philadelphians in context)

While there have been a few exits, mainly contracts expiring or loans, there’s been only one sale from the first team with Emile Smith Rowe leaving to go to Fulham.

Last week it was reported by James in the Athletic that during a team dinner Arteta had hired a team of professional pickpockets to steal wallets from the players to teach them the importance of always being ready. Makes you wonder what other kind of team talks Arteta has done.

Summer update on the pets is that they are all good, happy, and as weird as they were before the end of the season. Proof below.
